Since Randy Johnston and Robert Tobey took on their first legal malpractice case in the 1980s , they have become known as one of the most active and successful firms in malpractice law.

Randy and Robert have been honored as Texas Super Lawyers every year since 2003 (Thomson Reuters). Randy is listed among the Top 100 Lawyers in Texas (Thomson Reuters 2010-11) and is featured in Texas Monthly. He is also listed among D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas (2009-11) and was selected to Texas Lawyer’s Go-to Guide for excellence in legal malpractice (2007).

JohnstonTobey attorneys aggressively maintain a teamwork approach in every case of professional malpractice, with Randy providing the overall vision and Robert handling every possible detail. Coyt Johnston joined the firm in 2009, adding expertise to firm cases as well as handling litigation of his own.
